Lanshan district was awarded the "National Forestry Industry Demonstration Park"

The 8th World Wood-based Panel Conference and 2023 Linyi Wood Industry Expo were held in Linyi on September 15th and September 16th-18th, respectively. Former Deputy Director of the State Forestry Administration, former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, chief engineer, Deputy Director of the Development and Reform Department of the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau (director level), leader of the leading group for the change of China Forest Products Industry Association, former director of the Fire Prevention Department of the State Forestry and Grassland Bureau, member of the party group and deputy director of the Provincial Natural Resources Department, deputy director of the Provincial Forestry Bureau, and city and district leaders attended relevant activities.

The theme of this World Wood-based Panel Conference is "Gathering Strength for High-quality Development and Enhancing the Resilience of External Circulation", and experts, scholars and entrepreneurs in the industry are invited to gather together to look forward to the frontier trend of the industry, explore the development direction and transformation path, and jointly promote the high-quality development of the wood-based panel industry.

The theme of this year's Expo is "Meeting again in the Capital of Sheet Metal, Sharing New Opportunities in Wood Industry". There are 3 exhibition halls and 4,200 booths, with an exhibition area of 93,000 square meters. More than 700 exhibitors from home and abroad participated in the exhibition, and 126 overseas buyers from more than 30 countries were invited to watch the exhibition and negotiate, and high-quality foreign trade enterprises in our city were organized to accurately carry out docking cooperation, and the intended purchase amount reached over 600 million US dollars.

At this wood-based panel conference, the State Forestry and Grass Bureau awarded lanshan district the "National Forestry Industry Demonstration Park", which is the fourth national-level famous brand of wood industry after "China Wood Capital", "World Wood-based Panel Conference" and "China Wood Ecological Technology City".

Lanshan district Wood Industry Demonstration Park is located in Yitang Town, covering an area of 18.9 square kilometers. It is divided into wood machinery area, wood comprehensive supporting area, wood transformation and upgrading demonstration area and high-end plate area. There are 1923 board and supporting enterprises in the cluster, with an annual production and processing capacity of more than 22 million cubic meters, including 1668 plywood enterprises, 90 wood machinery enterprises, 87 furniture enterprises, 27 wood flooring enterprises and 51 other enterprises such as whole house customization. The annual output of plywood is about 17.9 million cubic meters. In 2022, the registered wood enterprises in the whole region achieved an output value of 34.75 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.8%.

In recent years, in accordance with the work arrangements of the municipal party committee and the municipal government, lanshan district has thoroughly implemented the requirements for high-quality development of wood industry transformation and upgrading, based on the foundation of wood industry, strengthened the advantages of wood industry, persisted in strengthening the industrial chain, developed innovation chain and upgraded the value chain, and promoted the intelligentization and digitalization of the wood industry chain in the whole region by cultivating and strengthening leading enterprises in Lanshan Wood Industry Demonstration Park, improving the planning level and carrying capacity of the park, accurately attracting and improving the back-end industrial chain, promoting the construction of key wood projects in an orderly manner, and improving the level of wood manufacturing.
