Recently, the National Standards Committee issued two new versions of standards, namely, medium density fiberboard and laminated veneer lumber, which will be implemented on June 1, 2022.
It is reported that compared with the 2009 edition, the new standard of MDF mainly modifies some terms, definitions and abbreviations, increases the classification and technical requirements of architectural MDF, increases the calculation of 5% and 95% quantile value, and deletes the inspection time limit.
Compared with the standard of 2006 edition, the new standard of laminated veneer lumber mainly adds the classification according to the use environment and whether it is secondary glued, and deletes the classification according to whether it is flame retardant; Added the quality requirements for inner veneer of non structural laminated veneer lumber, and veneer quality requirements for structural laminated veneer lumber.
